Rainy day in Amsterdam

30% chance of showers turned into an almost constant downpour. A good time was still had by the three of us.

Perfect day in Brussels

A visit to the Magritte museum was followed by a walk in the city, climbing in a park, and a fantastic meal... a perfect day!

Waffles, beer, chocolate, ohh my

Back in Brussels making my progress towards Mongolian during the last 9 days... zero. Well worth the detour to Tuscany and Paris.

First meal of veal scallopini with eggplant and mozarella at Phil (who I lived with in denmark) and Stephanies, Delish

Grief having lost a strawberry from its waffle home

Paris à bientôt

Our last night in Paris was commemerated by a delcious french meal and a visit to the champs du mars. Many thanks to my friend Guilloume for the great time Monica (a fellow yellow jacket joining me for paris and Bruxelles) and I had in his city!

Paris in transit

Traveling around paris I decided to pull out my 50mm, turn my camera to monochrome, and capture parisians in motion around the city. A great way to spend an afternoon!

An unforgetable weekend in macon and a night in Atlanta bidding farewell to friends was followed by over 24 hours of transit to Tuscany. The villa ( actually a converted monestary built in 1689) is an experience in itself. Olive oil and vegetables are still produced here(a favorite meal of tomatoes, olive oil; and basil all produced at the villa is posted).

Posting again soon and hopefully on a qwerty keyboard!

Just 3 weeks and I will be Mongolia bound... with a detour through Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, and Russia. I hope you all enjoy sharing this experience with me!
